Samples of Projects
Whirling Dervish Productions
Default Song: Train to Nowhere by Kelly J. Seager
It's highly recommended to listen to these samples on a computer equipped with good external speakers, as opposed to laptop speakers, in order to hear the detail and subtlety of the productions.
In cronological order - from recent to older

Words, Music and Acoustic Guitar by Saffron Moon - All other instruments by Kelly J. Seager
This is the first of my collaborations with Saffi. It is also the first production that I have ever done on which I play a Hammond organ!

Cryin' Over You - by Saffron Moon - 2:27

Written by Saffi's father Rick, this is a great classic country tune that has hit single written all over it.

Produced by Sean Sullivan & Kelly J. Seager. Mixing, Mastering, and Additional Recording by Kelly J. Seager

Perfect Sense - by Keith Aubin - 3:19
Music and Instrumentation by Keith Aubin
Keith Aubin is a versatile and talented guitarist from North Central Massachusetts. I had the pleasure of recording and mixing his song, Perfect Sense, for an upcoming release. Keith's fingerpicking style on this track, with his unparalleled natural ability to compose memorable melodies, makes him a powerful force of guitar in our part of New England.

Kill Shot - by Muckler's Circle - 4:18
Words, Music and Instrumentation by Muckler's Circle
Kill Shot is a song that I recorded, produced and mixed for Muckler's Circle, North Central Massachusetts's premier metal band. This band is capable of great things, and this track was recorded for a metal compilation CD to help introduce them to the metal world.
|
|
10 Paces - by Muckler's Circle - 5:15
Words, Music and Instrumentation by Muckler's Circle
10 Paces is my favorite of the post production and mix projects I have done for Muckler's Circle. It has a strong element of old-school metal, and this song never ceases to make me smile... and rock!
|
|
Behind Enemy Lines - by Muckler's Circle - 3:45
Words, Music and Instrumentation by Muckler's Circle
Behind Enemy Lines was the first work I did for Muckler's Circle. I was asked to do post production work and do a final mix for the song. It was intended to be somewhat of a "single" for the band, given that it has a contemporary element that can appeal to wide audience.
|
|
Stomping Grounds - by Muckler's Circle - 4:46
Words, Music and Instrumentation by Muckler's Circle
Stomping Grounds is the 3rd mix project for the Muckler collection. Speed metal, mixed with a dose of hard rock make this a very palatable contribution to the collection.
|
|
Life Sentence - by Muckler's Circle - 5:02
Words, Music and Instrumentation by Muckler's Circle
Life Sentence is the final mix project that I completed for Muckler's Circle. This song has a dash of prog rock mixed with metal to complete the collection with a nucleic blast.

Burden
- by Marcie Loiselle - 3:52
Words by Lindsey Lacombe, Music by Marcie Loiselle
This song was recorded with Marcie as a soundtrack to a video that was used as an introduction to a theater production at Fitchburg State College. We recorded it in a classroom with a mic and a Protools MBox hooked up to my laptop.

|
Burden (alternate mix)
- by Marcie Loiselle - 3:42
Words by Lindsey Lacombe, Music by Marcie Loiselle
This version shows how a different approach to mixing a song can achieve a very different result. These are the exact same tracks as the previous version, with the mix approached very differently.

Angel Eyes
- by Lynne Martinez | 2.44mb - 2:51
Music by ....
Lynne recorded this piece as part of her album called "Time Out - Simple Piano Pleasures". Her capability to play various styles exceptionally well makes her my "first call" piano player for almost anything I might need!
|
|
Song for Eia
- by Lynne Martinez - 4:05
Composed by Michael Jones
What more can I say? Lynne is very easy to listen to. Her songs are easy on the soul and even better on the ears.
|
|
Christofori's Dream
- by Lynne Martinez - 4:31
Composed by David Lanz
Christofori is considered to be the "inventor" of the piano. This is the way he would have liked his instrument to sound. The song is likely the "darkest" of Lynne's selections for her album, and certainly the most haunting.
